Hey y'all! It is Monday and that means a fun, bookish post! Today I'll be sharing some of the best BookTubes out there, preferably Christian Fiction ones because that's basically what I Read. ;D

What is Booktube You Ask?

From Wikipedia Article, "Booktube":
     "BookTube refers to the group of content creators on YouTube that film videos based on books. Similar to beauty gurus or gamers, BookTubers are a specific subset of the YouTube community."

So yes, a Booktube is a Youtube channel that mainly focus's on books. Very entertaining!!

Okay, now, onto My Fave Booktube's.....

                                Shantelle Mary.

                          One of her videos, Re-Introducing Shantelle Mary. ;D

Shantelle Mary! Yesss! It always makes me so happy to see one of her video's in my feed. :D Her videos are very well done, professional and so fun!!

                                     Lindsey From BFCG.

                                    One of her videos, Favorite Christian Books.

Next, Lindsey From BFCG! I love her channel! Again, her videos are very professional and its so fun to see what books she recommends. :D

For The Love of Christian Fiction.

One of her videos, April Book Haul.

For The Love of Christian Fiction, is fun too! I recently started watching it after seeing her around on Instagram. ;D Its always fun to see what books she's recently read and what she thought of them.

                                   Jessi Dawn.

One of her videos, My Life In Books Tag.
I also recently discovered, Jessi Dawn's channel, and its been a lot of fun watching her videos!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~                         Coffee and Chapters.
                           One, of her videos, Fall Recommendations.
Coffee  & Chapters. Her videos are also interesting, even though I haven't read a lot of what she recommends, I still watch her videos every now & then. ;D
                   Christian YA Books & More.
                            One of her videos, Top Five-Star Books of 2017.
Last, but not least, Christian YA books And More. Her channel is so much fun! She reads a lot of the same books as I do, and she's Canadian! Definitely go check it out. :D
{ I Don't Dance Blog Tour- Day One; Giveaway + Interview with Jesseca Wheaton }
Hey, Y'all! I know its only Wednesday BUT for a very special reason, Thursday's post is early! Jesseca Wheaton's' I Don't Dance releases TOMORROW!  I am so so so so excited and definitely will be buying it hot off the press.
I N T E R V I E W.
1. Thanks for doing this interview, Jesseca! Let’s start off with a question about your popular book, A Question Of Honor. What inspired it?
A Question of Honor began with two pictures I found on Pinterest. One was of a couple saying goodbye, and the other was of a soldier with a little girl on his lap. I pined them and thought maybe someday I’d write a story for them. But then I couldn’t wait so I wrote a quick scene…and the rest is history.
2. How do you manage to squeeze writing into your day? Do you have a specific time of day set aside for writing?
Haha, I wish! Most of the time, though, my days are so busy that I just try and fit writing in wherever.
Normally this works better at night because I can make sure I’ve finished my things fo the day and give myself an hour or so dedicated just for writing. Some days when things are slower I can also fit in some time in the afternoon. Those days are always a treat.
3. Does finishing a book make you happy or sad? Why? :D
It depends, and it’s kinda a mix of both, to some degree. Happy that the story is finished, but sad that I have to leave my characters. It’s one reason why theres a Questions of War series and not one book...xD
4. What are some of your personal favorite World War Two books?
The Waves of Freedom series by Sarah Sundin is amazing. Also, Resist by Emily Ann Putzke and Brothers in Arms by Jack Lewis Baillot.
5. About “I Don’t Dance”, was it hard to write contemporary fiction after writing your Questions of War series?
Not really. I had expected it to be more difficult to get into as I was writing, but that wasn’t the case. The style you write in is slightly different, and of course, the research that goes into it is different. But I didn’t have a difficult time with it.
6. Lastly, What is the story behind I Don’t Dance? What inspired it?
During the time when I wrote, I Don’t Dance God was teaching me to wait. Not exactly in the same way as Ty, but the lesson was similar all the same. I Don’t Dance was written, among other things, to encourage others when God has said ‘wait’. It was inspired by a number of things, but I’d have to say that was the main thing.
Title: I Don't Dance.
Author: Jesseca Wheaton.
Genre: Contemporary, Romance, Military.
About The Book:
"Ty and Jen have been friends for nearly as long as anyone can remember. But when Ty goes off to college and leaves her behind, he has to face the reality that he cares for her as more than just a friend.
As graduations approaches and with only one summer left before he begins basic training, Ty must make a decision. Military life is never easy; is it fair to force it on the one he loves?
In the midst of wrestling with the question and coming to the realization that summer is quickly drawing to a close, Ty struggles to face questions he cannot answer, and is forced to examine his own heart.
Is it possible that God has a future for him with Jen? Or will the summer close with only memories of days gone by?
Their relationship would be old fashioned. But that was okay. Because old fashioned and whimsical fit perfectly with a southern summer."
About the Author:
Jesseca is a daughter, sister, and a child of God. Her days are spent reading, cooking, spending time with siblings, or playing piano. And writing, of course! At an early age words fascinated her, and her love for the printed page has only grown. She lives with her parents and seven siblings in the sunny state of Kansas, and she’s convinced there’s no place like home.
A Wrinkle in Time Movie Review.
A Wrinkle in Time Movie Review.
Hey Guys!! Happy (Late) Fathers Day! I hope you had a wonderful day. =) Sorry I missed last weeks posts. Recently I watched A Wrinkle in Time and wanted to share my thoughts on it!
PS: I disliked the book, but I’m a slicker for movies based on books that they be exactly like the book!
As 2018 approached, I was greatly anticipating the release of a new movie I was very much looking forward to, A Wrinkle in Time. I had seen the older version and thought the animation was pretty cringe-worthy but the storyline did stay true to the book.
I had hoped the new 2018 version of A Wrinkle in Time would have better animation and was quite disappointed. I think it was Mrs. Whatsit, turned into what looked like a piece of lettuce on which Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin rode on. In the book, Mrs. Whatsit turns into a horse-like thing, sort of like those things on the Narnia movies.
I was also very annoyed that they did not stick to the plot of the book, such as the other movie. The setting was quite wrong, the character's appearance was not as the book said as, and the storyline was WAY off.
The Characters:
-Charles Wallace. NO. Just NO. He acted way too fake, he wasn't how anyone would picture him to be.
-Meg Murray.   Also NOOOOO. In the book, She wasn't very good looking and had braces. It showed otherwise in the movie.
-Calvin. LOL, don't remember his last name xD. He was okay, not exactly as he should be but okay. A bit too fake, too perfect and also too well dressed. He definitely was not like that in the book.
 This was supposed to be emotional, touching, adventurous, and scary but I cannot say it was any of those. I actually found it corny and cringe-worthy most of the time.
Camazotz. It was supposed to be dark and gloomy in the story. NO. It was sunny and joyful. NOOOO. Overall, This movie was much too modern, with the setting, people and outward and inward appearance. Disney has done a very poor job with this movie, I must admit and I am sorry to say.
Overall Rating: 2/5 stars.
Thanks for reading!! What did you think of A Wrinkle in Time if you've watched it? Yay or Nay?
Have you read the book?
Quest for Leviathan Blog Tour.
            Quest For Leviathan Blog Tour
My Review:
 Very well written! It was crafted together with skill and the whole thing was well written. The drawings inside that went along with the story were amazing! I just loved them!
I really liked the story. It was very interesting  and not a piece of history people usually write about. The struggle Anath came to accept was realistic and good.  I loved the setting and the characters you felt like you knew instantly instead of just for a few minutes. For such a short story, it’s very good and interesting. Rating: 4/5 stars.
Are sea monsters a real thing? What about fire-breathing dragons? According to the Bible, there is a fire-breathing sea creature who really existed: the leviathan. Amanda Tero brings this dragon to life in her newest short story, "Quest for Leviathan." Join Anath and his crew of ninety-nine rowers as they face the waves of the Mediterranean Sea and the power of Leviathan.
About the Book
Leviathan took the life of his father.
Anath has spent three years preparing for the voyage that will end the threat of Leviathan. Yet as the Valor launches into the depths of the Mediterranean, an inward quest also begins, taking Anath to depths he is not willing to face.
Purchase an e-copy on Amazon or order a paperback.
Amanda is giving away TWO print copies of "Quest for Leviathan" to one winner -- one for you, and one for your friend!
{ A Month In Review: May 2018. }
May. It seems like just yesterday it was April and now it’s JUNE?! How crazy is that?! May was filled with Scotty McCreery (especially Roll Your Window Down! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ), our lil bumpkin calves, many cups of black tea, and both good and bad books *wink wink* Lets see what was up in May!
W H A T . W A S.  U P.   I N.  M A Y.
>>My brother brought the tractor or something to town and didn’t have anything to drive home so me and my sister hopped in the 15 passenger van and went to pick him up with an empty tank of gas XD we  barely made it home!
>>I finished memorizing 14 Verses for a Sunday School class I was part of and it was harddddd, I probably can’t say them all in the spot but I *memorized* them. The reward was a gift card to my favourite bookstore, which I’m super excited about!
>> My room blew up. It was a HUGE mess, with sunflower seeds etc.... don’t ask why XD.
>> Dad had to shoot one of our sick calves! 😭😰 Darcy was super cute, but really disgustingly sick. 🧐😝😰😘
>> FINALLY got around to reading Anne of Green Gables! I’m only 25 pages in, but it is exactly like the movie.
>> Mother’s Day! That was a fun day.
>> I rearranged my room, because my sister was in her room, and a mouse poked its head over the heat vent (which is in the roof!) and she hates mice so she slept over!
>> Merry was MIA, but then me and Hannah (my sister) found her sniffing under the old dishwasher in the storage room. . . . I gave her a generous helping of Cat Nip πŸ˜‰
>> I got Four free books! The Theory of Happily Ever After by Kristin Billerbeck (review) , My Name is River by Wendy Dunham, the author SIGNED it!!! (review), The Accidental Guardian by Mary Connealy (instagram picture) and A Rebel Heart by Beth White (review)!
>> I WENT SWIMMING AT 9 o’clock and It WAS FREEZING!!!!
>> I started randomly laughing at Scotty McCreery singing “Write My Number On My Hand” bc he was singing “......Coca-Cola” and it sounded so ridiculous *LOL* and when he was like “Write my number on your hand, it’ll look good with your Farmers Tan...” *LOL* okay, that was pretty random...XD
>> I CHANGED UP MY BLOG!!! And added Labels to all my blog posts. :P
>> Started my first Lauraine Snelling book.....and it’s so good!! It’s really amazing!!! See my full review of A Promise for Ellie on Goodreads πŸ˜‰.
>> I cleaned my room really well and *sigh* it went and got messy again. *triple sigh*
>> I was trying to read Until Tomorrow but all I could hear was EUGENE MELTZNERs SQUEAKY VOICE FROM ADVENTURES IN ODYSSEY!!!!!
>> Me and my sister, Hannah attempted an all nighter to watch the royal wedding at 3am....>.< Fail for me, Win win win for Hannah ;D
>> Listen to a whole audiobook in less then a week *gasp*!
>> Bought a mint plant! Merry really likes to sniff it ;)
>> Forced myself to read The Theory Of Happily After. REALLY didn’t like it. Full review on previous post πŸ˜‰
