{ A Month In Review: May 2018. }

May. It seems like just yesterday it was April and now it’s JUNE?! How crazy is that?! May was filled with Scotty McCreery (especially Roll Your Window Down! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ), our lil bumpkin calves, many cups of black tea, and both good and bad books *wink wink* Lets see what was up in May!

W H A T . W A S.  U P.   I N.  M A Y.

>>My brother brought the tractor or something to town and didn’t have anything to drive home so me and my sister hopped in the 15 passenger van and went to pick him up with an empty tank of gas XD we  barely made it home!

>>I finished memorizing 14 Verses for a Sunday School class I was part of and it was harddddd, I probably can’t say them all in the spot but I *memorized* them. The reward was a gift card to my favourite bookstore, which I’m super excited about!

>> My room blew up. It was a HUGE mess, with sunflower seeds etc.... don’t ask why XD.

>> Dad had to shoot one of our sick calves! 😭😰 Darcy was super cute, but really disgustingly sick. 🧐😝😰😘

>>We got a new calf! His name is Spots!!

>> FINALLY got around to reading Anne of Green Gables! I’m only 25 pages in, but it is exactly like the movie.

>> Mother’s Day! That was a fun day.

>> I rearranged my room, because my sister was in her room, and a mouse poked its head over the heat vent (which is in the roof!) and she hates mice so she slept over!

>> Merry was MIA, but then me and Hannah (my sister) found her sniffing under the old dishwasher in the storage room. . . . I gave her a generous helping of Cat Nip πŸ˜‰

>> I PREORDERED THE PENDERWICKS AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜±πŸ˜±πŸ˜±πŸ˜±

>> I got Four free books! The Theory of Happily Ever After by Kristin Billerbeck (review) , My Name is River by Wendy Dunham, the author SIGNED it!!! (review), The Accidental Guardian by Mary Connealy (instagram picture) and A Rebel Heart by Beth White (review)!

>> I WENT SWIMMING AT 9 o’clock and It WAS FREEZING!!!!

>> I started randomly laughing at Scotty McCreery singing “Write My Number On My Hand” bc he was singing “......Coca-Cola” and it sounded so ridiculous *LOL* and when he was like “Write my number on your hand, it’ll look good with your Farmers Tan...” *LOL* okay, that was pretty random...XD

>> I CHANGED UP MY BLOG!!! And added Labels to all my blog posts. :P

>> Started my first Lauraine Snelling book.....and it’s so good!! It’s really amazing!!! See my full review of A Promise for Ellie on Goodreads πŸ˜‰.

>> The manure guys came!! They scooped out the whole cow pens and drove off with the manure in the back of the trucks :O PS: They came back for more...xP

>> I cleaned my room really well and *sigh* it went and got messy again. *triple sigh*

>> I was trying to read Until Tomorrow but all I could hear was EUGENE MELTZNERs SQUEAKY VOICE FROM ADVENTURES IN ODYSSEY!!!!!

>> Me and my sister, Hannah attempted an all nighter to watch the royal wedding at 3am....>.< Fail for me, Win win win for Hannah ;D

>> Listen to a whole audiobook in less then a week *gasp*!

>> Bought a mint plant! Merry really likes to sniff it ;)

>> Forced myself to read The Theory Of Happily After. REALLY didn’t like it. Full review on previous post πŸ˜‰

>> Okay—-so I got Just Look Up from the library and was really enjoying it. BUT. Everytime I turned the page, a awful smell wafted out. It smelt so bad!! *plugs nose* I literally had to hold my breath every time I turned to page xD

PS: extra special post on Saturday....stay tuned!

  1. Yup you nearly killed me with Just look up! Hehe you love Adventures in Odessey though!!!

  2. Loved this post, Vic! <3 Sounds like May was a great reading month for you! :) Wordpress looks like a great blogging site! And ahhhh, The Penderwicks at Last! <3 That was a book I read WAY too fast! LOL!

    1. Thanks, Rach!! Really?! I wasn’t in the mood for any books so I felt like I didn’t read as much LOL!! Yes! Blogger has been giving me a fit recently :P AH Yes! I loved it!!! Thanks for commenting!!

  3. Sounds like an epic month, Victoria! ;) I want to read Just Look Up soon!!

I haven't ever used Wordpress. Considered it a time or two, but for the most part, I prefer Blogger. xD

    1. Haha it definitely was!! Ooh yes! I feel like it’s a book you would really love. :D
Haha yes! I actually just use a desktop for blogging and that gets annoying to pull out, and start up every single time, where as if I used Wordpress I could just use a device. :P Blogger is good for me most of the time ;D

  4. It sounds like you had a fun May, Victoria! :)
Yay for free books! ;D You read quite a bit this month and it looks like you got some fun books too. :)
I’ve never used Wordpress before. I've used Blogger since the beginning and I'm pretty happy with it. ;)

    1. Yes! It was a busy fun month. :D
Indeed!! I was able to get quite a few books. :D
Okay! I haven't decided whether to switch or not. . . . Blogger hasn't been working lately! I might try and fix it!

Thanks for taking the time to comment and tell me how you liked this post! <3
