{ By The Book Tag }

Hey guys! Today I’m doing the By The Book Tag, thanks for tagging me Shantelle!
I’m going to go ahead and tag: Rebekah Ashleigh if you want to do it! =D On Thursday, I’ll have my Month In review post =D
What is on your nightstand right now?

-Sophie’s Dilemma by Lauraine Snelling
-Mandie Collection Eight by Lois Gladys Leppard
-The Road Home by Beverly Lewis
-Camp Club Girls: Secrets And Surprises Volume.

What was the last truly great book you read?
AH. AH. AH. Millie’s Grand Adventure by Martha Finley revised by Kersten Hamilton. WOW! It’s basically my favourite book of all time, just so amazing!!!!!!

If you could meet any writer - dead or alive - who would it be and what would you want to know?

Martha Finley or Susan K. Marlow. I would want to ask Martha Finley WHY she didn’t write another Millie book!!!! And Susan K Marlow to see if she’s writing more about Andi!

What books might we be surprised to find on your shelves?

Hmm, idk. Maybe the Camp Club Girls, or Lizzie Search’s for Love Trilogy, XD Camp Club Girls are pretty good and LSFL are just so relatable and great!!!

How do you organize your personal library?
Usually by age, genre and author. I have YA fiction, adult fiction and children’s fiction, which are usually sorted by genre then! But on my top shelf, I have my favourite books and YA. All the authors books are together.

What book have you always meant to read but haven't gotten around to it yet?
The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest, oh yes yes yes. I NEED to read it! I have my own copy but have yet to read it. I have even read the sequel, The Beautiful Pretender!! I’m definitely going to try and read it this week.

Anything you feel embarrassed never to have read?
Maybe the whole Nancy Drew series or Little Woman. I’ve read parts of the original Little Woman but not the whole thing. ;) I really just like to read what I like to read and try not to force myself to read awful books!

Disappointing, overrated, just not good: What book did you feel you were suppose to like but didn't?

The Ebb Tide. I read it in the dead of winter and it made me crave summer, and I forgot all the characters since I started it last year and picked it up again in the middle. I’m definitely going to reread it this summer, all in one blow, so I’ll enjoy it more!! It’s such a summery book tho! It’s weird, I loved The Ebb Tide but didn’t like it at the same time! The other day I was really wanting to read it again LOL.

What kind of stories are you drawn to? Any you stay clear of?

Contemporary books. I also love them with humour like Erynn Mangums fabulous series ;) I usually stay clear of dystopian and fantasy, really not my thing! And old classics. Blegh, I just get super bored!

If you could require the president to read on book, what would it be?

Hmm idk. Probably the Bible. šŸ˜‰

What do you plan to read next?

The Road Home by Beverly Lewis! It looks so good, and I can’t wait to read it!!!!!!!!

Thanks for reading! What was your favourite question? If you do this Tag, I’d love to read your answers!!
