{The Girls Guide to Conquering Life Review / Victoria’s Book Nook}

The Girls Guide To Conquering Life by Erica & Jonathan
Review.

———————————————————————————
Okay. This book came unexpectedly from Revell in exchange for an honest review which I most definitely will be giving.

This book was c h e e s e y. WOW. I didn’t like that they enforced “Girl Power” all throughout this book! If you want to know why Girl Power is stupid, check out Melani Crones blog post on that HERE.

First of, they had some tips about dating. UH. I didn’t really care for that. They had two paragraphs about “How To Ask A Guy On A Date” and “Deciding Who Pays For the Date”, like what?? I thought that was a little too modern and bold. I literally rolled my eyes at that part.

They had another paragraph on “Shaking Hands” UM, that seems a little extremely dumb!! I’m pretty sure everyone knows how to shake hands....if not....*cough* It’s about time you learn, so pick up this book 🙈👌🏼.

The authors instructions for Driving, Changing A Tire, etc. Weren’t very clear?? I didn’t really understand what they were saying.

This was published by Revel, a Christian Publisher....what?! This is not (in my opinion) considered a Christian book!! They didn’t mention any thing Christianity related AT ALL!!

All in all, a LOT of these times were very simple and mostly for ninnies, but I can see a few, very few in fact, that were useful like “Checking A Circuit Breaker”. I did find the little doodle, drawing things cute and added a fun touch ;)

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars. Very cheesy, and most of these tips were far from useful. Not recommended unless you need something for a good laugh.

Thanks for Reading !! Have you read this??
Anddd GOODBYE FOR A FEW WEEKS!! Me and Soph might be going live on Instagram sooom so be sure to catch that !!

    2. For sure! Have you done a post about The Storekeeper's Daughter yet? I just finished that one, so I could post about it. And I might do an older book I've read, too.
